Is the parent company of Eco Sensors since January, 2008. Eco Sensors, Inc., is now known as the Eco Sensors Division of KWJ Engineering Inc.

KWJ Engineering was founded in 1993 by Ken Johnson, a pioneer in gas detection instrumentation and the founder of GasTech. KWJ produces a robust line of instruments for detection and monitoring of CO, CO2, methane, H2S and other industrial gases. In early 2007 KWJ Engineering purchased Transducer Technology which was built upon the advanced electrochemical gas detection patent portfolio and sensor designs of Dr. Joe Stetter. The core sensor technologies are microelectrodes (MEMS) and nanotechnology to achieve high sensitivities, fast response and very low power consumption. The first nanosensor product (shown below) is for CO was introduced last year and the next product is for ozone is coming soon. The merger of these companies promises an exciting family of gas sensor products for safety and process control involving CO, CO2, H2S, NOx, VOCs and ozone. The products will range from tiny palm-sized devices to multisensor arrays feeding central computers by wireless networks.

CARBON MONOXIDE MONITORS FOR COMPRESSED AIR SYSTEMS

Models A222 and A356. Waterproof portable instruments to monitor medical compressed air for CO. 

Models A310, A316 and A409. Continuous monitors of compressed air for hospitals. Wall mounted with digital readout, alarm contacts and 40-20 mA outputs.  

Monitors are also available for carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and other gases.

OXYGEN LOW PRESSURE ALARM

Model A389. A pressure sensing accessory mounted on oxygen tanks to give audible and visual alarms when the oxygen supply pressure drops below an adjustable alarm limit. Battery operated with about one year battery life.
